Borer Infestation
Take Action Before Removal is Your Only Option
This is urgent! The Emerald Ash Borer has made it to Vermont. Now is the time to protect your ash tree!
With known infestations now occuring across Vermont, all untreated ash trees are at high risk for becoming infested. As ash trees were commonly planted in our geography, there is a good chance you may have one in your yard. Unfortunately, all infested trees will die as a result of this invasive pest. If you have an ash tree, do you have a plan for its protection or removal?
It's time to decide
- Take action before your tree(s) become infested. Once you see the visible symptoms of an EAB infestation, treatment options may no longer be effective. Now is the time to choose from your options, before EAB makes it for you!
- Have your ash tree(s) evaluated by one of our ISA Certified Arborists
- Your evaluation will include assessment of tree-health and your personal landscape goals
- Protect any ash trees you wish to save with proven treatments
- Proactively remove any living ash trees that are not a priority
- Reactively removing a dead tree is more dangerous, and can be significantly more expensive than live tree removal
